I wanted to write an entry on this longgg ago, but somehow, it wasn't successful.

Im obsessed, really, with this hindi film, 'OM SHANTI OM'. And im no kidding when I said obsessed. I had the dvd sitting inside my tv room. And, I've watched the movie for at least 4 times. And, I've replayed the music videos more than 10 times. Really, Its one of the best that I've watched.

Well, the film first caught my attention because Shahrukh's in it. HAHAHA. Of course, the plot was touching too, and the songs are soooo cathchy! Everything seems so perfect in the film! im mesmerised by it! It got my soul, and my heart.

Really, I dont understand why people are still struck in the era where they think that hindi movies involve the characters dancing and jumping out and in behind palm trees. NOT TRUE. That era was eons ago! To see it is to believe it. So, go watch any recent hindi movies and you'll know what I mean.

I chances upon this song on youtube. This is taken from a very old movie, When I watched the mv, i actually cried. Oh boy, this is the first time i actually teared when I watched a mv. Do watch, it really is very nice. The lyrics of the song too. 好感动。I'll go hunt down this movie after my exams end.

今天是个多灾多难的一天! 俗语说得好, 有不好的开始就有不好的结束! 咳,有感觉这是我学业生命里最难碍的一天! 不止我自己遭殃,就连狄波拉和紫滢也一样! 真的是倒霉到家!
为了把我的文章写好,我从凌晨做,做,做到今天早上六点钟! 厉害唄! 可是!就在这个时候,老爸走了进来! 我当然是说我刚上完厕所正要回去睡啦!要不然就要碍骂了!
可怕的事情就要发生了！！！我竟然 "假戏真做" 真的睡着了！当我醒来时已近太迟了！唉。。。我还搭的士到学校，花了我$20.80!!!
最遭的受害者是狄波拉！！她的文章尽然被电脑病毒给吃掉了，唉，所以他得重新写过。

Made these marble magnets for the kids at tuition.
My very first attempt, and it took me almost 90minutes to make 18 magnets!
But im pretty glad that they all turn out fine.

All the meaningful values that despina helped me think of

using millet, i tried to cook the chinese style of 'sticky porridge', in other words, 'chock'.

after cooking the millet, i threw it in the blender and blended it, hoping to get the sticky effect.
the shiitake mushrooms and baby dou miao were then added, followed by seasoning.

ta-ta. the 'choke'!

HOWEVER, the millet become very stickyyyyy and my 'choke' sort of become mashy baby food.

feeling that my 'choke' is pretty plain, i tried to make brinjal tempura!

my dad says it taste OK, but he sort of finish up everything. -.-

any ideas what else can be tempura-ed? im thinking of trying asparagus next.

chance upon this receipe, im so gonna try this when i have that chance! [any kind souls out there would like to lend me their ovens?]
